Motivated Maharashtra belt 15 past hapless Rajasthan

squad

After suffering a disappointing 1-6 loss against tournament favourites Manipur in their opening game, Maharashtra came back stronger scoring goals on rampage to beat Rajasthan 15-0

squad

The senior women Maharashtra team came back from their opening day defeat in style as they beat Rajasthan 15-0 in their second game of Senior Women’s National Football Championship 2018

A rampaging display from the girls meant Rajasthan were given no chance to make a comeback into the game, while their defense tried miserably to reduce the havoc created by Maharashtra strikers. A perfect comeback from the girls after miserably losing the opening game to tournament heavyweights Manipur. Maharashtra next face Karnataka in 7th of February in their final league game. While Manipur has already qualified to the next round after having won all three group games, Maharashtra would like to finish of the tournament on a high to seal the second group spot with two wins.

Karnataka come in to their final group game on the back of 0-8 hammering from Manipur while a 3-0 result against minnows Rajasthan had earlier helped them start-off the campaign with all three points. While a draw would mean Maharashtra holding the second best spot on goal difference, the girls would still to look to finish off in style with a victory by a good margin a target.

Group B: Maharashtra 15 – 0 Rajasthan
