Juhu strikers maintain group G top spot edging Godrej & Boyce 1-0 in 2nd division while in 1st division Young Guns defeat Bombay FC

8th Dec, 2nd Division:

A first half strike from Deepak Singh turned out to be the winner as Juhu Strikers edged out Godrej & Boyce to top group G of MDFA 2nd division. The win took Juhu Strikers on top of table while Godrej and Boyce were stuck at 6th spot.

In another end division fixture of the day, Air India faced FC Mumbaikars A for a group C fixture. An inspired performances in the latter stage of the game gave FCM a come from behind victory. After trailing Air India for most part of the game, Noah Dcosta and Deepak Waghela came up with late goals to give FC Mumbaikars (A) a 2-1 win. The Win keeps FCM at the top of the table while Air India remained at the bottom.

9th Dec, 1st Division:

In 1st division game, Bombay FC suffered their first defeat as Young guns beat them 2-0 to halt their top of table progression. Tarang Manjrekar and Aaditya Rawal struck in the middle of first half to grab a comprehensive 2-0 win for his team. The win catapulted Young guns to the third spot in group table with seven points in four games behind Bombay FC and Atlanta FC
