U-15 Youth League: Maharashtra Zone, as it stands

18th November 2017, Mumbai: Like its previous editions, the ongoing U-15 Youth League has already garnered huge praise and positive outcomes with the young aspiring kids showcasing their talent at such a big stage. The Maharashtra Zone is heading towards an interesting and exciting path as six teams are battling each other for the top spot.

After four matchdays, this is what Maharashtra Zone table looks like:

Reliance Foundation Young Champs are currently cruising with two wins in as many games, while Kenkre FC and Football School of India (FSI) are right below to keep up the pressure on RFYC. Football Club of Mumbaikars is fourth with one win and a loss, whereas, India-Rush Steadfast FA and Indian Football Academy (IFA) are yet to open their account.

Reliance Foundation Young Champs’ striker Thoi Singh is currently in hot form after netting eight goals in just five matches. Taking all the Zone into consideration, only Ozone Group FC’s Harpreet Rulbir has scored more goals (11) than Thoi. Besides having the second best top scorer in the U-15 Youth League, Reliance Foundation Young Champs is second in terms of scoring goals (25), behind Ozone Group FC who has scored 34 goals so far.
