Future star outclass Mangesh SA while Football leaders Academy edge out Mumbai Marines in the dying minutes of the game to pick all three points on Day 29

In an dominating opening game by Future star FC hammer five goals past poor Mangesh SA. Tushar Kamani opened the scoring in 12th minute which was followed by Jignesh Solanki’s 20th minute goal as both teams entered break. Rudolf Dsouza tripled the lead in the 36th minute before Jared Saldanha’s late brace completed a 5-0 routing.

The mid-afternoon fixture of group I was played between SDKT (Mumbai Marines) and Football Leaders Academy. After an even encounter for most of the game, SDKT defence finally cracked in the 47th minute as Yash Nikalj made it 1-0 for Football leaders. Two minutes later, in an attempt to equalise the score, SDKT pushed forward which helped Football leaders to take advantage and slot the second to seal the deal. It was the first win for Football leaders for this season

Game 2: SDKT 0 – 2 Football leaders Academy (Yash Nikalj 47’, Rohit Shinde 49’)

The evening game between Liyakat Ali FC and Western India United ended in a goalless draw after neither side managed to break their opposite defence. While Liyakat picked their second point of the campaign with second drawn game, it was the first draw for Western united taking them to four points in three games and third position in group C table.

In the afternoon game of group J, RCF youth colony faced off against Hegdewar Boys. A 21st minute goal from Kartik Darekar gave a goal lead for Hegdewar boys which remained till the end as they picked their first win of the campaign

In the evening encounter between Salsette FC and Vipul Gorai FC ended in a draw. Neither side managed to break the deadlock as the game ended at 0 – 0.

Game 5: Salsette FC 0 – 0 Vipul Gorai FC

In the penultimate game of the day, St. Rock FC faced off against Amigos FC for a Group E encounter. Amigos FC came out as winner courtesy a lone goal from Albon Fernandes that pushed them to the second spot after three consecutive wins in the league.

Game 6: St. Rock FC 0 – 1 Amigos FC (Albon Fernandes)

In the final game Nasseb Reloaded played out a tame draw against Los Galacticos. It was the second draw for Naseeb in as many games. Los Galicticos moved to third spot in group C table with four points in two games
