MSSA football league 2016-17, U16 Boys Day-2 Roundup.
If Day 1 began with a bang, Day 2 of the MSSA 2016-17 was acracker. Missed the matches and its results? FootballCounter has it all covered for you.
The first match of the day saw, Don Bosco High School (B) of Matunga take on Balmohan V.M in the U-16 Boys, IInd Division Group B. The boys from Don Bosco edged out Balmohan winning 1-0. Rusit Sampat scored the only goal of the match which proved to be the winning goal.
Moving ahead to the second match, it was the Don Bosco Derby. The Don Bosco High School (A) from Matunga clashed against the Don Bosco High School from Borivali in the U-16 Boys, Ist Division Group B. Three second half goals in a space of 12 minutes from Atharva Gaikar, Aryan Hukumchand and Lance Fernandes propelled the Don Bosco H.S Matunga to a winning start in the MSSA season 2016-17.
Hansraj Morarji Public School from Andheri played out a 0-0 draw against Swami Vivekanand International School from Kandivali in the Boys U-16 Ist Division Group A match. The final match of the day saw Lilavati Poddar Sr.Sec contest in a 0-0 draw against the St.Lawrence High School from Kandivali in the Boys U-16 IIIrd Division Group E match.
So there you have it. Four matches, five goals and a couple of 0-0 draws to wrap up all the action from Day 2 of the MSSA League 2016-17.
