MDFA 3rd Division: Adarsh FC blank GKW Rangers 3-0

While Tarun Mitra Mandal overcame a goal deficit to win 2-1 against IFS Cooperage, Adarsh FC, Anushakti Nagar and Bassiem United picked up comfortable victories
The day 23 started with Anushakti Nagar SA picking up an easy 2-0 win against Shastri Nagar FC to make it 2 wins in 2 games. The result put Anushakti Nagar in pole position of Group M with 6 points from 2 games alongside RCF Boys but with a better goal differences. Yogesh Palekar and Akshay Nair were the goal scorers for the Anushakti, as Shastri Nagar FC opened their 3rd division campaign with a loss.

The second game of the day was between group N teams GKW Rangers Youth FC and Adarsh FC. While GKW had started with a win in their opening game Adarsh faced a loss. However this game saw vice versa result has Adarsh FC condemned GKW to a 3-0 loss. Goals from Naresh Makwana, Pratik Rathod and Hitesh Purabiya sealed the deal for Adarsh FC as GKW Rangers failed to hit the net.

The third game of the day saw Bassiem United move to the top of the table in Group A after picking up a second win in as many games. At the other end, BPCL M playing their first game of the campaign had to face a defeat after Parikshit Sule and Roy Santhmayer gave Bassiem United a comfortable 2-0 victory.
Game 3: BPCL M 0 – 2 Basseim United (Parikshit Sule, Roy Santhmayer)
In a closely contested final game of the day, Tarun Mitra Mandal overcame a goal deficit to beat IFS Cooperage 2-1. Nikhil Parab had put IFS Cooperage ahead in the 21st minute only to be brought level by Krupesh Sherwade in the 29th minute. A 40th minute strike from Nikhil Nagtilak proved to be the big difference as Tarun Mitra Mandal managed to pick their first win of the campaign.
