MDFA 3rd Division: Anushakti Nagar, KSA, Khiladi connect collect wins on day 14

KSA, Anushakti Nagar, Khiladi Connect alongside Somaiya SA and GKW Rangers collect wins on day 14, while IIT Bombay, Young guns hold themselves at draw in 3rd division of MDFA
The opening game of the day between IIT Bombay and Young guns was a cagey affair. Niether side managed to hit the net as the game paddled away to a scoreless draw.
Game 1: IIT Bombay 0 – 0 Young Guns
The second game saw a solitary goal from Ajit Yadav’s tenth minute strike seal the deal for Anushakti Nagar S.A. against Bombastic FA who failed to break the Anushakti Nagar defence.
Game 2: Anushakti Nagar SA (Ajit Yadav 10’) 1 – 0 Bombastic FA
In the third game, KSA beat Storm Chaser in a close encounter with a single goal separating the two sides. After Avinash Bangera had put KSA in to the lead, Prabhajot Saini brought Storm chasers in to level terms. However, RN Machado’s 29th minute strike proved to be the winning goal as KSA went home with all points.
Game 3: KSA (Avinash Bangera 12’, RN Machado 29’) 2 – 1 Storm Chaser FC (Prabhojot Saini 22’)
The fourth game of the day was a cagey affair with both Juhu Beach united and Ansterngung United failing to score. At full time, both sides ended sharing the points as the game ended at a goalless draw.
Game 4: Juhu Beach United 0 – 0 Ansterngung Uni.

The final game was between Fort united and Khiladi Connect FC, where Khiladi United completely dominated the game to finish the game off at 3-0. Darshan Gadge’s first half break put Fort United into back foot after which a 37th minute strike from Utkarsh finished off the deal.
Game 5: Fort United 0 – 3 Khiladi Connect FC (Darshan Gadge 2’, 16’, Utkarsh Gurung 37’)
The penultimate game of the day was between IFS cooperage and Somaiya Sports Academy. Unmesh Dhere opened the scoring for Somaiya with his 14th minute strike which was followed by Mohammed Malpara’s 28th minute strike. Few minutes later, Akshay Panchal added third to the tally as the game ended at 3-0.
Game 6: Somaiya Sports Academy (Unmesh Dhere 14’, Mohammed Malpara 28’, Akshay Panchal 35’) 3 – 0 IFS Cooperage
The final game of the day was between GKW Rangers and Millat FC that went to GKW Rangers winning the game 2-1. It was Millat that the early lead after Al-Kabber Mohd opened the scoring in the 5th minute. However Rangers equalised in the 17th minute courtesy Akash Rai’s strike. Just when the game looked to head for a draw, Indrahasan struck in the 50th minute to grant Rangers a win.
Game 7: GKW Rangers (Akash Pai 17’, Indrahasan 50’) 2 – 1 Millat FC (Al-Kabeer Mohd. 5’)
