MDFA 3rd Division: Footie First FC wins a nervy encounter against Goal FA on Day 11
In a close encounter, Footie First FC triumphs, while BMVM FC, Oscar foundation, Maurya youngstars pick up comfortable wins on day 11 of MDFA Division 3
The opening game of the day saw Maurya youngstars pick up thrash SDKT (Mumbai Marines) 3-0 courtesy goals from Sohil Srivastava, Ashwin Menon first half strike that was followed by Anup Naik’s strike in the second half

Footie first FC overcame a late challenge from Goal FA to win a nervy encounter 2-1. Mithil K opened the scoring in the 4th minute. Footie doubled their lead in the 38th minute of 2nd half when Vinay’s strike hit the net. However Ashraf Qureshi’s 50th minute goal for Goal FA meant a nervy final ten minutes, which Footie First FA held on.

In the third game of the day, Nihaal Shinkre’s second half strike for BMVM FC turned out to be the winning goal as Hedgewar boys failed to equalise.
Game 3: BMVM FC (Nihaal Shinkre 45’) 1 – 0 Hedgewar Boys
In the final game of the day, Oscar Foundation won a comfortable victory over FC Cosmos courtesy goals on either side of the break. Azad Ansari opened the scoring in the 24th minute while Danveer doubled the lead five minutes in to the second half.
