Mumbai Strikers, RBI romp to easy wins
Mumbai, April 21: Mumbai Strikers combined well and romped to a comfortable 4-0 win against GM Sports Club in a Super Division match of the MDFA League 20-16-2017 and played at the Goans SA ground, Cross Maidan on Friday. Strikers Akshay Devadiga, Arsalan Hamdulay, Revel Kunder and Abhijit Shetty all scored a goal each to round off the winning tally.
Meanwhile, Reserve Bank of India powered by the twin strikes from Altaf Mansoori recorded an identical 4-0 win against Sping field FC in another Super Division match, played at the Andheri Sports Complex. Harold Fernandes and Abhishek Ambekar scored the other two goals for the bankers.
Under the lights Bank of India and HDFC Bank played a goalless draw at the St. Xavier ground, Parel.
