Kenkre FC U17 vs Sterling Das ends goalless, Kenturians FC & RCF Youth council record wins

Mumbai: Kenkre FC U17 and Sterling Das were involved in a goalless draw in their Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA), First Division, Group A match held at St Xavier’s ground, Parel on Saturday, April 1^st, 2017.

A game that promised a lot but delivered very little is the way we can describe this first division clash. There were three yellow cards shown throughout the match, two show to Kenkre & one to Sterling Das. A goalless game that produced a couple of good chances in each half. But both teams lacked the end product and clearly, that was visible in today’s scoreline.

RCF Youth Council edged IFA in their Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA), Third Division, Group F match held at St Xavier’s ground, Parel on Saturday, April 1^st, 2017.

Mayur Poojari scored in the 21^st minute to put the RCF side in front. Jaimeen Talhmankar equalised for IFA in the 24^th minute. Rakesh Mondal scored the winning goal in 38^th minute. RCF Youth Council walked away with all three points.

Kenturians FC won a cliff-hanger against Chemburites FC in their Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA), Third Division, Group F match held at St Xavier’s ground, Parel on Saturday, April 1^st, 2017.

The match produced five goals and it turned out to be a goal fest as the crowd was treated with some end to end football. It was a battle of two good attacking teams.

Hardik.P scored in the 5^th minute to put the Chembur side in front. Ashutosh Kadam equalised for Kenturians in the 13^th minute. It was Ashutosh yet again to put them ahead in the 18^th minute. Kenturians lead the way by 2-1. Just like the initial stages, there was a twist later on in the game. Nitin Shettigar made it 2-2 in the 34^th minute.

But it was Abhishek Halde’s goal in the 42^nd minute that proved to be the winner for Kenturians FC as they triumphed 3-2.
