Round-Up Day 3: IFS-League of Champions

A total of 21 matches featured players from under-8 to under-14 age category in IFS-League of Champions as Day 3 of the competition came to a closure.

Under-8

In the Under-8 match, Kooh Sports played against St. Francis D’Assisi High School Team A in a goalless draw. Neither side was able to break the deadlock in an overall balanced encounter.

Under-10

In dominating fashion, Kooh Sports triumphed over Indian Football School Team A by 8-1. In the other match, Lokhandwala Strikers comprehensively outperformed St. Francis D’Assisi High School Team B in an 11-0 win Goal. (Ishan Kirpalani 4 goals, Aryan Malhotra 2 goals, Tanish Karkhanis 2 goals, Advay Shetty 1 goal ,Ojasya Soham Ulfat 1 goal and Jeron Thomas 1 goal )

St. Francis D’Assisi High School Team A won 5-0 against Indian Football School Team A. A similar margin saw Bhaichung Bhutia Football School beat Kooh Sports 5-0.

St. Francis D’Assisi High School Team B was up against Indian Football School Team B, where the latter recorded a win by a narrow margin of 1-0. St. Francis D’Assisi High School Team A also beat Western India United Football Club by a one-goal margin.

Western India United Football Club suffered another defeat when they were overrun by Indian Football School Team B by 6-0, the final match of the day.

Under-12

Lepa Academy was up against St. Francis D’Assisi High School, as the former were beaten 6-0. Football School of India narrowly edged Bhaichung Bhutia Football School, winning by one goal, in an otherwise balanced tie. India on Track ran ramped against Kalina Youngster, beating them by 8-1.

Lepa Academy suffered their second defeat when Indian Football School beat them 3-1. St. Francis D’Assisi High School featured in a nine-goal thriller against Young Shall Grow, as they were defeated 6-3 in the process.

In the final two matches from under-12, India On Track beat Indian Football School by 5 goals to 2 and Kalina Youngsters were outplayed by Football School of India 3-0.

Under-14

Indian On Track beat Western United Football Club comfortably as the former ran out eventual 2-0 winners. Kalina Youngster clinched maximum points against funinOsports as they beat the latter 2-1 in the match.

In the final match of the day, Young Shall Grow narrowly stumbled to a 1-0 defeat as Bhaichung Bhutia Football School were able to hang on to their one goal advantage until the full-time whistle.
