Sterkem Pharma thumps KSP Hydro in Second Division

Sterkem Pharma met KSP Hydro in the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) Group ‘D’ Second Division on 10th November 2016. Sterkem were clinical in front of goal as they notched up a fantastic 4-1 victory over their counterpart.

Vishnu Malik proved to be lethal as he scored two of the four goals scored by Sterkem Pharma, whereas, Rohan Jadhav and Nitin Pathale scored one each. Meanwhile, Sagar Amre scored the lone goal for KSP Hydro.

Sterkem Pharma dominated right from the kick-off. The breakthrough in just five minutes when Vishnu Malik scored the opener with a fine finish. Five minutes later, Vishnu made it 2-0 to put Sterkem Pharma in the driver’s seat.

KSP Hydro pulled one back in the seventeenth minute through Sagar Amre’s spectacular goal. Though Sterkem restored the parity four minutes when Rohan Jadhva put one back in the back of the net.

Sterkem Pharma pressed KSP’s midfield to gain back the ball possession. They also created numerous chances in the last few minutes of the first half.

In the second-half, Sterkem dominated by keeping the majority of the ball possession. Nitin Pathale made it 4-1 and put the match to bed and snatched away all three points for Sterkem Pharma.
