St. Xavier’s Ground, Parel, Mumbai: On Saturday, 5th November 2016, Atlanta Football Club hosted Bad Boys in the Mumbai District Football Association Division 1, Group ‘B’ match. While, two quick goals in the span of four minutes, bought the tie to bed, as first Alex Fernandes doubled his goal tally on 36 minutes with Rian D’Souza adding his name on the scoresheet on the 40th-minute mark.

Bad Boys started the match on the back-foot as Atlanta pressed higher and moved the ball quicker and swiftly, fancying their chances from either wing. After hitting the woodwork past the 10-minute mark, Atlanta put their noses in front through an Alex Fernandes effort, a right reward for their dominating spell in the opening phase of the match.

In between the first and second goal, Bad Boys were presented with a couple of scoring opportunities but failed to capitalise, lacking behind in creative in the final third of the pitch. Meanwhile, Atlanta were strengthening their grip on the match with every attack.
