MSSA U16: Andheri’s St. John the Evang slams five goals past yet again

On Thursday, Eighth September 2016 , a total of  nine games  were played on in “Boys 16 IV POKO ”  category.The matches for today were divided within two venues between Azad Maidan and Lower Parel. A total of six matches were concluded at Azad maidan and rest of the three matches were concluded at Lower Parel Venue

In today’s  first encounter  Mulund’s  Sharon English H.S. went head to head with Goregaon’s Yashodham H.S. It was tight contest between the two side as Mulund’s  school emerge victorious with 2-1 victory.Priyanshu Mehta scored brace for Sharon English HS While Harshal Bankar added consolation for the opponent.

Today’s  second clash  was between Powai’s   Bunts Sangha’s S.M. Int and Kandivali’s  GundechaEdu. Aca. it was yet again a close encounter as Bunts Sangha’s S.M. won 3-2 .Sumit Rajput , Ritik Gupta , RisheeajSamyal  were the goal scorers for  Powai’s school while Veetrag Kumar , Ameya   added two goals for the opposition.

Meanwhile in the third clash  Colaba’s Army public school thrashed four goals past Kurla’s Holy Cross H.S.ouravnayak , ParasDhuliya , Rahul Jaspal were the goal scorers for Colaba’s school. Soon after this match same scoreline was  reflected by yet another Colaba’s school  St. Joseph’s H.S. with KaustubhPanchal , Aryan Kalekar , Abhishek Jadhav finding their name on scoresheet.

In today’s other two match  St. Rock’s H.S. ( Andheri E ) defeated Jankidevi Public Sch.(Andheri) with 2-0 Scoreline courtesy of Pasha Shaikh’s brace.In the next match  B.K.M. H.S. (Bandstan Chow.) edged past Dadar’s  Dr. Antonio Da Silva H.S. KaushikGhopale was the lone goal scorer of the match.

In other three matches held at  Parel ground were engaged with  full of goals and drama / with two of thye matches saw  total of 10 goals scored and the reaming match went to penalty shootout. In first match Andheri’s  St. John the Evang. scored five goals past Malad’s Infant Jeses School . Kyle Pmenta was hattrick hero   while  Neil Fernandes 1, Gavin Moris added the rest of the two goals . In today’s  another high scoring match St. Thomas H.S.(Goregaon E) thrashed five goals past Byculla’s  M.H. SabooSidik Tech. Om Pawar , DevashishSawant  each scoring two goals then Christo Chettiar adding another to complete 5-o scoreline. last match at the venue between went into decider as kandivali’s  Ryan Int. Sch.(CBSE) defeated Mazagaon’s Diamond Jubilee 2-1 adter1-1 scoreline in regulation time .
