Mumbai FC will try to end their losing streak at away matches. On the other hand, Aizawl FC will also fight out of their skin to clinch all 3 points tomorrow. With 5 points from 7 matches, Jahar Das knows there is huge pressure on him to win the match. Mumbai FC are currently 5th position in the Hero I-League table with 9 points from 7 matches.

In the pre-match press conference today, Khalid Jamil, Mumbai FC coach, said, “We are thinking positively. Sometimes we win, and sometimes we have to accept our losses too. We hope to win tomorrow.” He also anticipated that tomorrow’s match will be a taxing one as Aizawl FC are a hard nut to crack in their home, “Aizawl FC has been terrific at their home. They work hard, and really are very good.”

With regards to the change in the managerial position of Aizawl FC, Jamil commented that he hasn’t found any difference in their game and believed that they have been playing well in all their matches.

Mumbai FC attacker Jayesh Rane also looks forward to the match, “Every single Hero I-League match is bound to a tough one. Tomorrow’s match will also be one as all the matches have been so far.”

Aizawl FC coach Jahar Das stated in front of the media, “We will try our best to win the match. None can promise a win but we will definitely play our best.” Aizawl FC may not be able to utilize two outfield players F. Lalrinpuia and David Lalrinmuana who are being held back with injuries. However, Das mentioned that they might be given the fit certificate ahead of tomorrow’s match.

Aizawl FC are looking to further strengthen their team with new Nigerian forward Joel Sunday Ayeni. The coach, however, declared that he might not appear for tomorrow’s match as he still lacks match fitness.

Alfred, one of the linchpins of Aizawl FC, commented, “We will play to win tomorrow. We have to play our best to get the desired result.”

If Mumbai FC earn themselves all three points tomorrow, they will move up to the fourth spot in the Hero I-League table while a win for Aizawl FC will take them up to the 7th position.
