Brawlers Cup 2016 begins this weekend. Will You Be There?

Yes, you read it correctly. The Brawlers up 2016 kicksoff this weekend i.e on the 30th and 31st Jan 2016 at the New Footbrawl Artificial Turf, Lions Sports Club, Santacruz(West).

The Brawlers Cup 2016 edition is a one of a kind Knockout tournament which will be held on astro turfs. Lets quickly get you through the objectives of this lovely tournament.

1. There will be 8 tournaments which will be held in 2016.
2. The winner of each tournament advances to the Final which will be held in the month of December(8 teams league format type)
3. To increase the rivalry is one prime objective of this tournament
4. To encourage participation in large numbers is also one of the major objectives here
5. Brawlers Cup promises to deliver the best action and create an amazing atmosphere of Sports throughout

The Rules and Regulations of this tournament are given below.

1. It will be a KNOCKOUT tournament
2. Every team who wishes to participate pays an entry fee of Rs 2000/team
3. Only 32 teams are permitted to play in the Brawlers Cup
4. It will be a 5 on field  plus 3 rolling subs concept
5. Every half of the match will span for 10 minutes
6. In a toournament of such high stature the referees appointed will be from the MDFA
7. Players are allowed to get their studs

The organisers have put their heart and soul into creating this tournament and therefore they wish to announce prize money as well as trophies and medals for players.

The Winning team gets a cash price of Rs 25000 along with the Winners trophy and medals whereas Runners-up get Rs 15000 with a Runners-up trophy and medals.

Along with the cash prize players have a chance to win some special awards at this tournament. The officials and panel members will honour the players in the following category.

1. Best Player of the tournament
2. Best Goalkeeper of the tournament
3.  Highest Goalscorer of the tournament
