Kenkre FC fight back to win 4-1 against Millat FC

Kenkre FC came back from 1-0 down to defeat 10-men Millat FC 4-1 in the second day of Nadkarni Cup Football Tournament 2015-16 to book their place in the next round, where they will face PIFA Colaba who earlier defeated Rhema SF 5-0.
Danish Qureshi opened the scoring for Millat FC on 30th minute, few minutes later Millat’s defender Asif Khan was controversially sent off. Kenke FC took the advantage and scored two second-half goals through Samuel Bradley’s brace, Prathamesh Rokade and Egypsio Noronha to snatch the match away from Millat FC’s hand.
Millat FC started the match brightly as they had majority of the ball possession and they deservingly took the lead on the half an hour mark when Danish Qureshi’s shot took a slight deflection from Kenkre’s Lassine Karamoko and went past in.
On 36th minute, Kenkre’s Skipper Taha Kachwala was fouled by Asif Khan, who was booked for his mistimed challenge.
A minute later, Asif Khan was controversially sent off and the leaders were down to 10-men.
After this heated incident, Kenkre FC came close to equalize when Taha’s mistime shot went just over the bar.
Kenkre FC dominated the second-half as they effectively used their advantage of being a men up for the whole second-half.
Prathamesh Rokade equalized for Kenkre FC before Samuel Bradley drove his shot into the right bottom corner as Kenkre FC went 2-1 ahead inside 15 minutes of the second-half.
Midway into the second-half Samuel Bradley struck again, making it 3-1 in favor of Kenkre FC. His left footed shot proved too good for Millat FC’s goalkeeper as the game started to slip away from Millat FC’s hand.
Kenkre FC scored their final goal in the dying minutes when Taha’s low cross was tapped into the empty net by Egypsio Noronha to put the final nail in the coffin.
