Waves FC and DK Flag Foundation Share Points in Tight Contest
Waves FC faced DK Flag Foundation in the Mumbai Premier League in a clash where both sides came in with contrasting momentum. Waves were looking to bounce back after a narrow defeat to group leaders Oranje FC, while DK Pharma entered the fixture high on confidence following their win over Kalina Rangers.
The match proved to be an evenly fought battle from start to finish. Both teams showed strong intent in attack and remained disciplined in defence, but neither could find the decisive breakthrough.
Waves FC had their best chances through Sunny and Shubham, who both came close to opening the scoring. However, crucial misses in front of goal denied them the advantage. The DK Pharma goalkeeper stood tall between the posts, producing important saves to keep Waves at bay and maintain the clean sheet.
At the other end, DK Pharma also created promising opportunities but lacked the final touch needed to trouble the scoreboard. The defensive units of both teams stayed organised, cancelling each other out in key moments.
In the end, the contest finished 0-0, with both sides settling for a point each. The draw takes Waves FC to 8 points from 7 matches with two fixtures remaining, while DK Flag Foundation move to 10 points from 8 games, with just one group match left to play.
