The match took place between Oranje FC and Waves FC in the Mumbai Premier League in which both teams have the potential to come up with an upset.

Oranje FC have been unbeaten so far this season and will make sure to keep it that way against an underrated opponent who are made for times like this and to cause a stop to big teams.

The first half was equally contested with both teams putting up to the test to match each other. Both teams had their equal share of opportunities to go in front but didn’t make the most out of it.

Chrispin looked good on the ball for Oranje as he was twisting and turning well on the attack and got his reward in the 38th minute with a brilliant shot from outside the box in to the top corner that left the ways keeper helpless to take Oranje in front at the end of half time.

The second half was crucial for Waves FC as they looked to get the equaliser as quickly as possible to get back in to the game. The Oranje FC keeper was good with his distribution so far in the match and kept changing the game from the back.

Until the 72nd minute, Waves created some crucial chances and caused the Oranje defence some problems but in the 73rd minute with a miss pass from the Oranje keeper Aaryan and passed the ball straight to Sanchit who went on to power the ball in to the open net to get the equaliser for Waves FC and get them right back into the game.

With the score equalled, Oranje had to regroup and find the winner in the next 13 minutes plus added time to keep their winning form intact. But who could get the equaliser and it wasn’t from the starting 11 but the player who was brought on in the second half, Mohd. Khatib who went on to seal the winner in the 85th minute after the initial shot was saved by the Waves keeper but he didn’t miss the target and closed the game for Oranje FC and once again take away all 3 points.

This win for Oranje FC means they remain unbeaten and a goal conceded today makes it just their 2nd goal conceded this season while Waves FC would’ve wanted to atleast get a point from this fixture after their equaliser but things didn’t go their way and will have to regroup and go again in their next match against DK Flag Foundation.
