The Mumbai Premier League saw Mumbai Ultras take on CFCI in their final group stage fixture, with the Ultras aiming to strengthen their hold on second place in Group B behind the unbeaten leaders MYJ.

From the opening whistle, Mumbai Ultras controlled the tempo of the game with dominant possession and constant attacking pressure. Their persistence paid off in the 25th minute when Zele opened the scoring after being set up by Sachin Bangera, giving the Ultras the breakthrough they were looking for.

The momentum stayed with the Ultras and they doubled their advantage just seven minutes later. In the 32nd minute, Zele turned provider this time as his delivery was met perfectly by skipper Joyson, who headed the ball into the net to make it 2-0 heading into half-time.

Mumbai Ultras continued their dominance in the second half and extended their lead in the 60th minute. Joyson grabbed his second of the evening with a brilliant finish past the goalkeeper, putting the result firmly in the Ultras’ control.

CFCI struggled to break through the well-organised Ultras defence, while the attacking pressure continued at the other end. In the 84th minute, Dhawal produced a moment of individual brilliance as he cut past a defender before firing a shot through two defenders and beyond the goalkeeper to make it 4-0.

The final touch came in the 90th minute when Sabastine lifted a clever shot over the keeper inside the penalty box, sealing an emphatic victory for Mumbai Ultras.

The Ultras delivered a complete performance with dominance in possession, sharp attacking play, and a solid defensive display to secure a clean sheet. The result sees Mumbai Ultras finish their group stage campaign strongly in second place in Group B, just behind the unbeaten MYJ.
