Kalina Rangers Respond in Style with Dominant Win Over Sellebrity FC
Kalina Rangers faced Sellebrity FC in the Mumbai Premier League determined to bounce back from their previous defeat. Up against a Sellebrity side still searching for their first point of the season, Rangers knew this was the perfect opportunity to return to winning ways.
However, the match began in unexpected fashion. Just five minutes in, Tushar stunned the Rangers defence by giving Sellebrity FC an early lead, putting pressure on the A side right from the start.
Kalina Rangers responded quickly. In the 16th minute, Anthony found the equaliser to restore balance and shift the momentum. From that point onward, Rangers began to take control of the game, dominating possession and dictating play, while Sellebrity were left relying mostly on counter-attacks.
The pressure paid off in the 28th minute when Arjun put Rangers ahead, completing the turnaround and sending his side into half-time with a 2-1 advantage.
The second half saw Rangers step up another gear. Ethan extended the lead in the 60th minute, giving his side breathing space. Johnson added a fourth in the 72nd minute, effectively putting the contest beyond reach.
In the closing stages, Clinton took over. He struck in the 86th minute and added another in the 90th to seal an emphatic 6-1 victory for Kalina Rangers.
The commanding performance marked a strong comeback for Rangers, while Sellebrity FC remain winless this season and will need to regroup quickly ahead of their upcoming fixtures.
