by Chandler D'silva January 22, 2026

The match will see Bombay Gymkhana take on RFYC in the Mumbai Premier League where Bombay Gymkhana coming off a victory in their last match will look to make it back to back wins while Reliance will also look for the same goal.

The first half was a mixture of both teams looking for an opener but Bombay Gymkhana had the more better chances to go in front but the Reliance keeper stood strong to deny them. Reliance kept rotating the ball neatly and tried to break down the Bombay Gymkhana attack but it wasn’t that easy. The first half had a few half decent chances as well but both teams failed to break the deadlock which ended the half at 0-0.

Bombay Gymkhana came out stronger in the second half and got an early goal in just the 56th minute through their keeper Kaushal which was a very rare incident to see a keeper scoring in the MPL which put them in front. Just 12 minutes later they went on to grab a second this time with the help of Porus Shroff and made it 2-0. Reliance tried to comeback but the Bombay Gymkhana defence stood strong and defended with good shape. They went on to win the game with a 2-0 scoreline making it back to back wins for Bombay Gymkhana while handing RFYC their first defeat of the season.
