The match, marked by two late-game goals from Pratham Ghatnur, saw Oranje secure their first win of the playoff round campaign, while CFCI’s search for points continues.

Mumbai City FC battles back to draw against ICL Mumbai
In another MPL encounter, Mumbai City FC showed some impressive resilience, staging a remarkable comeback from a 2-0 halftime deficit to draw 2-2 against ICL Mumbai. The result marks consecutive draws for Mumbai City FC in the playoff round.
ICL Mumbai asserted their dominance in the first half, taking the lead in the 18th minute. Although Mumbai City FC goalkeeper Harsh Kadam produced a stunning save, Ronik was on hand to capitalize on the rebound, giving ICL the lead. As the game progressed ICL continued on the charge, just before halftime, ICL doubled their advantage when Akshay Pashilkar’s low cross was tapped in by Aayush Kumar making it 2-0.

Subhajit Belel’s forward run and pass found Sartape, who unleashed a powerful strike from outside the box, reducing the deficit to 2-1. Mumbai City FC continued to apply pressure, and around the hour mark, they found the equalizer. After a header hit the side bar, and a Sartape strike hit the top bar again, Sayyam Desai headed the rebound in to make it 2-2.
