Young Guns FC edge Mumbai Soccer prodigies 3-2 in a high scoring match

In a high scoring encounter, Young Guns edge past Mumbai Soccer Prodigies to win 3-2 in yesterday’s Mumbai Super League fixture

First half began with high intensity action as Youngs guns FC found their first goal early on in the game, where they were provided with a free kick and Ehsaan Shetty stepped up in this moment to take the shot, he connected a powerful shot in the center of the nets. Even though the keeper got his hands on the ball the shot deflected off the keeper and went to hit the bar from where the shot rebounded and found its way into the nets, securing an early lead for Young Guns FC.

MSP launched an attack in attempt to equalize the game. A ball from the right wing, found its way to jersey no. 17, who took a shot in hope to secure a goal but the ball sailed over the nets, denying MSP a chance to equalize. Moments later, Lokesh from MS, positioned himself inside the box, with an aim to score a goal for his teambut the young guns keeper was upto the mark. The first half concluded with Young Guns FC leading by 1-0.

Second half commenced with MSP earning a corner,Gaurav Adhikari, passed it on further to Ronan who tried to create an opportunity, but fell short as the defenders of Young Guns FC stood firm. The game reached a thrilling point as Young Guns FC were awarded a penalty, Dhruv Hegde stood up to the moment and took this opportunity, shooting the ball to the lower left corner of the nets and scoring a goal, extending the lead to 2-0.

Moments later, Naren Thakur from Young Guns created a wonderful opportunity as he made a dynamic run into the box, attempting a shot but the ball narrowly missed the target.

A crucial opportunity presented itself in front of MSP as Lokesh received a well-directed pass inside the left wing, seizing this opportunity;Lokesh unleashed a shot into the upper center of the net, securing a much-needed goal which provided MSP some relief narrowing the score deficit.

Young Guns with determination to win the match, retaliated swiftly as Krishnanshoo Bhatia from the right corner, executed a brilliant run, delivering a cross shot which eluded the keeper and made its way into the nets, extending the lead to 3-1.

MSP showed their determination as they did not hold themselves back despite the score and continued to push forward, where 25 initiated a pass to Anamay creating an opportunity to score a goal. Pouncing on the opportunity Anamay struck the ball into the left corner scoring a goal, bringing the score to 3-2.

MSP tried hard to score a goal in the final moments of the match but could not evade the time and final whistle rang, with Young Guns FC winning by 3-2.
