Symbians FC Crumble as FSI Clinches Dramatic 2-1 Victory in Final Minutes

Football School of India (FSI) pulled off an extraordinary comeback against Symbians FC, scoring two goals deep into stoppage time to snatch a 2-1 victory in the Mumbai Super League.

For the majority of the match, the momentum swung back and forth, with both teams battling for dominance. Symbians FC finally broke the deadlock in the 75th minute when Amol Jadhav, who had been involved in several of their attacks so far in the season, found the back of the net. After FSI’s goalkeeper saved the initial shot, the ball fell to the right flank where Amol pounced. He kept his composure, gliding past the keeper to give his side a crucial lead.

Symbians looked set to cruise to victory, but FSI had other plans. In the 90+5’ minute, Aum Sali initiated the comeback. Following a chaotic scramble in midfield which led the ball glide to left flank, FSI’s No. 20 made a dangerous run down the left flank and attempted a cross. Symbians keeper Yash Jadhav got his hands on it but fumbled the ball, allowing Aum to capitalize and slot it home for the equalizer.

Just a minute later, Symbians, eager to reclaim their lead, pushed forward but left themselves exposed at the back. Mayank intercepted a loose pass near the halfway line and raced toward goal. With only the keeper to beat, Mayank dribbled around the onrushing Yash Jadhav and calmly rolled the ball into the open net, completing FSI’s stunning 2-1 comeback followed by an epic celebration by the young lads.

Symbians FC, after leading for much of the second half, were left shell-shocked by the quick turnaround. They have now dropped points in consecutive matches, while Football School of India sits at the top of Group A, continuing their impressive run in the Mumbai Super League.
