Mumbai Ultras continue their dominance with a 3-0 victory over Oscar Foundation

Mumbai Ultras FC have sent a strong message to their rivals after securing a commanding 3-0 win over Oscar Foundation, making it 5 wins from 5 games in the ongoing Mumbai Super League.

With 26 goals scored and just 3 conceded, Ultras are proving to be a formidable force this season as they solidify their position at the top of Group B with 15 points.

The game against Oscar Foundation was expected to be a tough challenge, but Ultras handled it with their usual mix of clinical finishing and solid defending.

First Half: Breaking the Deadlock

Both sides started the match cautiously, feeling each other out in the early exchanges. Oscar Foundation applied pressure, looking to test the in-form Ultras, but the well-organized defense stood firm, repelling their attempts with ease.

The breakthrough came late in the first half after a spell of back-and-forth play. Nandu intercepted a misplaced pass and quickly released Joyson, who was operating in the attacking third. Joyson showed great vision to turn and play a perfectly weighted ball through to Ryann. Driving into the box, Ryann looked to cut the ball across the face of goal, but a deflection off an Oscar defender saw the ball nestle into the back of the net to give Ultras a 1-0 lead.

Second Half: Building on Momentum

Oscar Foundation came out of the halftime break looking for an equalizer, but Mumbai Ultras’ defense was resolute, with the goalkeeper and backline nullifying any threat that came their way.

As the game progressed, the relentless pressure from Ultras forced yet another defensive error from Oscar Foundation. A loose pass was intercepted, and Ultras quickly transitioned into attack, with Joyson again involved. The attacker calmly laid the ball off to Shreyas Zele, who kept his composure to slot it home and double Ultras’ advantage at 2-0.

Third Goal: A Perfect Team Move

The third goal epitomized the style and confidence of Mumbai Ultras’ play this season. Starting from the back, Ultras worked the ball upfield with precision. Ryann’s smart flick found Joyson, who in turn released Sabestine Almeida on the left wing. Sabestine sprinted forward with pace and power, cutting into the box before unselfishly playing the ball across for Dhawal to tap it into the net. The clinical team move capped off another stellar performance from the league leaders.

Full Time: Mumbai Ultras FC 3-0 Oscar Foundation

The match ended with a well-deserved 3-0 victory for Mumbai Ultras, who continue to dominate the Group B table. Their ability to combine attacking flair with defensive solidity has them looking like a side determined to secure promotion after narrowly missing out in the last three seasons.

Oscar Foundation, meanwhile, remain in 3rd place with 9 points. They will be eager to bounce back in their upcoming games as they look to close the gap at the top.
