Mumbai City FC U19 took down Somaiya FC 5-1 in a thrilling showdown, as Ahaan Sharma emerged as a star, scoring 4 goals displaying his accuracy and brilliance.

Mumbai City FC U19 dominated their playoff fixture of the Mumbai Super League with a dominating 5-1 win over Somaiya FC.

Ahaan Sharma was the start of the game scoring 4 goals in the match. First, he seized an opportunity inside the box, executing a precise header that found the back of the net, putting the Islander colts in the lead 1-0. Few minutes later, Ahaan struck once again, this time positioning himself on the edge of the box, confidently netting another goal with a well-placed shot, extending the lead to 2-0.

Shortly after, Ahaan once again exploited a gap in Somaiya’s defense on the left wing and attempted a shot. Despite the keeper’s attempt to thwart him, the ball found the net successfully, widening the gap to 3-0.

The dominance continued futher, when Mumbai’s number 8 Stiener entered the spotlight, skillfully aiming for the top right corner, as he executed a brilliant shot, securing his team a substantial 4-0 lead.

However, Somaiya’s number 8 managed to break through the defense of Mumbai, and capitalizing on a error at the Mumbai backline, scored a goal from inside the box, bringing the score to 4-1 as the first half concluded.

As the second half unfolded, both teams aimed for further opportunities, as Somaiya tried to mark a comeback and Mumbai City tried to score further, solidifying their momentum. Somaiya’s number 11 narrowly missed a potential goal after collecting a well-placed cross.

Meanwhile Ahaan, a constant threat, faced strong opposition as the keeper made an excellent save, denying a header that could have further extended their dominant lead. Mumbai’s number 9 had a chance inside the box, but Somaiya’s defenders skillfully defended against the shot, holding Mumbai back.

However, Ahaan once again proved to be a pivotal force as he shot the ball, collecting it at the edge of the box, securing another goal as the keeper missed the shot, solidifying Mumbai’s lead at 5-1.

With this the action came to an end with Mumbai City FC registering a well-deserved victory over Somaiya FC.
