The Indian Football Portal to launch its fourth Scouting & Talent Identification course this weekend

The Indian Football Portal, a social initiative formed to reduce unemployment and increase job prospects in Indian football, are launching their fourth Scouting & Talent Identification Level 1 online course this weekend, 13th and 14th of November.

The organization came into existence in 2020 with the aim of delivering top-quality content to the football fraternity. They have run talk shows with some of Indian and world football’s most reputed individuals including former India captain Bhaichung Bhutia, vice-captain Gouramangi Singh, ISL and I-League star Dudu Omagbemi, legendary coach late Subhash Bhowmick, goalkeeping expert Gumpe Rime, I-League 2nd Div head coach Richard Hood and I-League & India internationals like Arun Malhotra, Paresh Shivalkar and Manandeep Singh.

They have also interviewed former national team head coach Stephen Constantine, former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon, Liverpool throw-in specialist Thomas Gronnemark, former World Cup player Emeka Ezeugo and Fulham Academy Director Huw Jennings.

The Indian Football Portal also run an Instagram and LinkedIn page that regularly updates the Indian football audience of the latest job opportunities and trial announcements, in their quest to connect more football professionals with employment and upskilling opportunities.

Co-Founder Archis Bhagwat says, “TIFP was formed during lockdown when we realized that while we are making steady progress as a footballing nation, football players, coaches, support staff and administrators still face the difficulty of finding new clubs and academies to work for. We constantly strive to deliver talk shows, services, education and a lot more and highly affordable rates so that fees are never a barrier for our primary focus, which is the Indian football fraternity.”

They have successfully run three online Scouting & Talent Identification Level 1 courses, delivered by a UEFA B licensed coach qualified in scouting through the International Professional Scouting Organisation (IPSO) and Professional Football Scouts Association (PFSA), in which they covered topics like the role of a scout, player scout vs opposition scout, where scouts find talent, position-specific qualities of a player, matchday preparations of a scout, scouting protocols, talent identification process and factors and lastly, careers in scouting.

TIFP’s intention of launching the course was and is to formalize the segment of scouting in football in India, and provide teams with the opportunity to hire trained professionals who can assist them in spotting unidentified talent, which can then save teams a lot of money.

A-licensed coaches, B-licensed coaches, former professional players, I-League backroom staff, academy owners, and armchair fans have been participants of the course. TIFP are working aggressively on trying to reach the maximum number of people and educating them on the art of scouting and talent identification.

Along with the scouting courses, they will soon be launching content-heavy coaching and goalkeeper courses for a very nominal fee.

They also run budget-friendly services which include:

  • Complete Player Development
  • Group Fitness Training for Players
  • Player/Coach Mentorship Program
  • Player/Coach Branding
  • Club/Academy Operational Support
  • Football Career Consultation
  • Professional CV Design
  • Individual/Team Website Design
  • Club/Academy Curriculum
  • Social Media Management
  • Content Writing
  • Logo/Poster Design

In short, they are a one-stop solution for all players, coaches, clubs and academies who are looking for a low-cost partner to enhance their profile as an individual or organization. TIFP is proud to have very happy clients.

Archis also added, “We never compromise on quality. Had there been no capital and operational expenses, I would have liked to offer all our services and courses completely free of charge, but still need to charge a nominal fee to stay afloat. We are desperate to impact people from every Indian state and union territory within the next 12 months.”

As The Indian Football Portal, one of their prime targets is to have their good work recognized by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), and hopefully, be judged able and effective enough to receive accreditation from the governing body.

To register for their upcoming TIFP Scouting & Talent Identification Level 1 course or to enquire about any of their services, send a WhatsApp to 7219005094 or write a mail to [email protected]
