Sethu FC aim to keep winning momentum against winless Sirvodem SC

Two teams with contrasting starts to the Hero Indian Women’s League 2022 season — Sirvodem SC and Sethu FC, clash heads at the Kalinga Stadium on Monday, May 2, 2022.

Sirvodem are yet to register a victory in the Hero IWL this season and will be up for a challenge against Sethu next. It will be interesting to see the Goan side put up a fight against the former champions of the league.

Sethu FC, in the meanwhile, will be looking to match league leaders Gokulam Kerala on the points table with a win. Head Coach Crispin Chettri expressed his opinion ahead of the match on Monday evening. “We will carry on with what we have been doing. We respect our opponents, but will be focused and go for the three points.”

Asked about his opinion on the side’s start to the Hero IWL season, Chettri added, “Yes, definitely we are happy, but we will like to improve with each passing game.”

The match between Sirvodem and Sethu FC will be streamed live on Indian Football YouTube Channel at 7:30 PM (IST).
