RoundGlass Punjab FC Lifts Punjab State Super League 2022-23 Trophy

Mohali, November 25: RoundGlass Punjab FC wins the 36th edition of the Punjab State Super League 2022-23 tournament after defeating Punjab Police with a scoreline of 1-0 in its final game.

The title-deciding encounter was played in PTI Mehanga Singh Stadium SN College Complex, Banga and kicked-off at 2 PM.

Punjab Police FC presented a tough competition to RoundGlass Punjab FC as it was in the additional time of the second half that Krishnananda found the back of the net to score the only goal of the game. With this goal Krishnananda finished as the joint-highest scorer of the tournament.

Speaking about the victory, Director of Football, RoundGlass Punjab Football Club, Nikolaos Topoliatis, said, “I want to take this opportunity to congratulate the boys and the entire backroom staff of RoundGlass Punjab FC on clinching the Punjab State Super League 2022-23 title. We had a vision of giving exposure and more playing time to our young players in the tournament. And, the boys delivered on the trust by bringing home the trophy.”
