GM Sports strike form to down Companeroes 3-1
GM Sports Club struck prime form and charged to a comfortable 3-1 win against Companeroes SC in a Mumbai Football Association, Elite Premier League match held at the Neville D’Souza ground, Bandra.
Mumbai: All four goals were scored in the first half. Sudhakar Ranjan scored a brace of goals and Kartik Yenurkar netted the third goal for the winners, while Companeroes had taken an early lead through Pranit Kadam.

However, GM Sports came roaring back and fired three quick goals to clinch the win. First, Ranjan scored the equalizer in the 15th minute and five minutes later was once again on target to give GM Sports the lead.
Having gained ascendancy, GM Sports added the third through the efforts of Yenurkar to complete a satisfying win and collect all three points.
The referee booked a total of five players, three from GM Sports and two from Companeroes.
Result: GM Sports Club (Sudhakar Ranjan 15′, 20′, Kartik Yenurkar 26′) 3 – 1 Companeroes SC (Pranit Kadam 2′)
