Northeast United FC has announced Deshorn Brown as their new striker. The Highlanders announced the transfer news in the ongoing January transfer window. Deshorn Brown had scored 7 goals in 20 appearances for Bengaluru FC since the signing. Brown also played for the Jamaican National team where he scored 2 goals.

Northeast United’s Executive Director Priya Runchal said, “Deshorn Brown brings with him the experience of playing in the top leagues across the world as well as a knowledge of Indian Football. Both of which are incredibly valuable during this stage of the Hero ISL. We are confident that he will hit the ground running and will have an impact on the team as we look to push for a playoff spot”.

In the meantime, FC Goa is all set to sign ATK Mohun Bagan’s reserve goalkeeper Dheeraj Singh Moirangthem on a 3-year contract. The Gaurs are expecting Singh to join next week.

The former Indian U-17 World Cup team goalkeeper attended trials in Europe for Scottish Premiership in 2017. After returning back, he represented Kerala Blasters in 2018-19 ISL and in the following year he represented ATK.

Bengaluru FC signed midfielder Xisco Hernandez on a deal which will see the Spanish Midfielder represent the Blues until the end of the current season.
