MDFA to host trials for WIFA Inter District Men’s Open Football Championship
The Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA), the governing body for football in Mumbai district is set to host their coaching camps and selection trials for the WIFA Inter District Men’s Open Football Championship. The tournament is scheduled to commence on the 1st week of February in Kolhapur district, Maharashtra.
The MDFA has scheduled their trials and coaching camps from 17th January 2020 at the Neville D’Souza Ground, Bandra. The timing for the same would be from 9:00 – 11:30 IST.
As many as 3 players from an Elite Division Team and 2 players from a Super Division Team can be sent to take part in the trials. Furthermore, only the players who will be selected from the trials and taken into the Mumbai team are eligible for the Santosh Trophy team selections.
