Kasif Jamal’s first half brace for Central Railway was cancelled out by goals from Birjit Soibam and Marven Pereira as the Air India Youth Team showed exceptional character to come from two goals down to end the game 2-2.

Central Railway started the game on a bright note winning an early Penalty. Veteran Kasif Jamal stepped up and sent his shot to the left of keeper to find the net and make it 1-0. Air India Youths tried to comeback with couple of good moves. The first one came 18th minute, when Samson’s snapshot was saved by Central Railways custodian before their best move of the half coming in the 33rd minute when Keegan Pinto’s strike hit the crossbar.

Just when it seemed like Air India Youths were come into the game, Kasif turned hero again for Central Railway with his second goal to make it 2-0 just minutes of the break. On restart, Air India Youths started out aggressively in search quick goals and were rewarded for their efforts soon when Birjit’s strike found the back of the net.

Around the hour mark, Central Railway were down to 10 men after CR striker was shown Red Card by the referee. Air India Youths soon started taking the man advantage dominating possession. Five minutes before the ninety minute mark, Samson shot came off the crossbar as Air India were denied for the second time by the woodwork. But just when it looked like Central Railway had done enough to take the win, Marven Pereria popped up with the equaliser for Air India Youth in the seventh minute of injury time to end the game on level terms.

In other Super Division encounter, Atlanta were held on to a 1-1 draw by Young Boys. Tanmay Talgoankar’s first half strike for Atllanta was cancelled out by Tayyed Penwala’s late equaliser for Young Boys.

Air India Youth Team (Birjit Soibam 53’, Marven Pereira 90+7’) 2 – 2 Center Railway (Kasif Jamal Ansari 5’, 45’)

Atlanta (Tanmay Talgoankar 25’) 1 – 1 Young Boys (Tayyeb Penwala 80’)
