WIFA Women’s Football League: Riva FC ease past UKM Kothrud FC
Riva FC played out an easy victory against UKM Kothrud in today’s WIFA Women’s Football League fixture.
Both the teams took their time to settle as the match witnessed no goals until the first half. However, in the second half, Riva FC got the better of UKM Kothrud FC breaking the deadlock at the 48th minute. Ramyashree Narde found the netting and gave Riva FC the required lead. Niharika Patil doubled the lead at the 61st minute to give them a comfortable lead. Ramyashree completed her brace through a penalty at the 74th minute which ensured Riva FC the 3 points from the match.
After today’s match, Riva FC sits at the 4th position with 6 points having played 4 games. On the other hand, UKM Kothrud succumbs to open their points tally after playing 4 games.
After 2 games, FLA Sri Ma fails to open their points tally. On the other hand, Future Stars sit at third position with 3 points from 3 games.
