WIFA Women’s Football League: Football School of India bag a satisfactory win

In yesterday’s WIFA Women’s Football League fixture, Football School of India played against Community Football Club India.

As the match commenced, Jyoti Rajendra Mehra of Football School of India found the net giving her team an early lead.

Football School of India looked dominant throughout the entire first half. Community Football Club India equalised at the 18th minute as Captain Delfiya scored for the team. However FSI continued to maintain their momentum and went on to increase their lead late in the first half. Pranali Shetty found the netting at the 44th minute to give her team a comfortable lead. The first half ended seeing Football School of India leading with the two goals.

As the second half commenced, Community Football Club India tried to get back into the game. However, they failed to get a breakthrough. As the final whistle was blown, Football School of India had the last laugh as they clinched a comfortable victory against Community Football Club India.
