Red Bull India has started their own 10 part series known as “On the Road Stories” featuring 10 supremely talented individuals across various professions, who share bizarre, exhilarating, and fascinating tales of their travel. One of the features involves Red Bull athlete and India’s star goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu recollecting a funny travel episode involving a not-so-Mexican standoff.

In 2015, India was playing Turkmenistan and had to travel to Oman next. Due to bad weather conditions, the team were stranded at the airport and what followed next is how the Indian men’s National football team got into a not-so-Mexican standoff with the Airport officials in a foreign country.
