Super Division: ESIC go on a rampage against SBI

Mumbai, February 26, 2019: ESIC turned on the heat as they romped home to a 5- 0 win against SBI at the Neville D’Souza Ground on Tuesday.

A brace from Sachin More and Ganesh Satire coupled with Ajinkya Umasare’s first half goal was the cornerstone of the win.

SBI was clueless and was virtually played off the park!

Fans who expected a snooze fest were left disappointed as Sachin More broke the off side trap and scored in the 26th minute. First blood to ESIC!

That goal was a huge confidence booster as they went on a rampage and pumped in four more goals.

Umasare grabbed a goal in the 40th minute and More had the simplest of finishes in the 44th minute. 3-0 in the first half and it was game over for SBI!

Satpute hammered the final nail in the SBI coffin with two goals in the 46th and 48th minutes to make it 5-0.

His goal burst showcased ESIC’s superiority on the day as SBI was clueless against a marauding forward line.

A wholly deserved win as SBI wilted in the afternoon sun!
