Sellebrity FC come from behind to win 4-2, ICL Payyade pick win

Sellebrity FC

In a brilliant display of grit and determination, Sellebrity FC came from 2 goals down to wine 4-2 victory against Iron Born CFCI while in other game ICL Payyade beat Salcette FC

After a cagey opening half an hour, Iron Born CFCI took the lead with two quick goals within two minutes from Aniket Gunjal and Brendon Gomendes. Iron Born went to break with a comfortable two goal lead as Sellebrity looked clueless.

After restart, Sellebrity looked to come back strong but found it difficult to breach Iron Born defence until the 71st minute when Agnelo Picardo’s strike found the back of the net. Minute later, Manish Koli scored the equaliser to bring Sellebrity back into the game. Conceding two quick goals rattled Iron Born as soon enough the momentum shifted towards Sellebrity.

Five minutes later, Tushar Poojary’s strike beat the keeper to make it 3-2 as Sellebrity took the lead for the first time in the match. Sellebrity continued on their new found attacking spirit and added one more through Sunil Das to put the game in to bed.

In another encounter, Indian Cultural League (ICL)-Payyade SC maintained their impressive winning form and blanked Salcette FC 3-0. In-form striker Olaide Amossn was among goals again with two late goals after Satish Subramani Thevar opened the scoring in the 60th minute.

Meanwhile in Super Division encounter, Striker Samson Keishing smashed four goals in Air India Youth Team crushing 6-1 win over Mumbai Soccer (CNP). Brijit Soibam and Yogesh Negi added one each for Air India Youth side while Aditya Raghavan scored the lone consolation goal for Mumbai Soccer
