Mumbai Games returns for season 2 this December

After a successful inaugural season, Mumbai Games will return for its second season by the year end of 2019 with registrations for the football open.

After a successful inaugural season, Mumbai Games will return for its second season by the year end of 2019 with registrations for the football open.

Mumbai’s very own Olympics – Mumbai Games, a one of its kind multi sport initiative aims to get Mumbaikars out and gives them a chance to play for their own Contingent similar to international sporting events like Olympics or Commonwealth games will be returning for its 2nd edition.

A one of its kind city-level franchise-based, multi-sport, extravaganza for all city sports fans professionals as well as non professionals can participate. Of the multi-family discipline, football will start by mid-December 2019 and a 5 vs 5 version of the game will be held. The tournament will be played across 4 weeks and in a league cum knockout manner.

Participation in Mumbai Games is open to all people from Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai region. Various age group categories are available for participation starting from U12 to right till the Veterans category while in women 16 and above can participate. All participants will get a jersey of their respective Contingent and goodies worth Rs. 1,000 All participants will get a participation certificate. All Mumbai Games winners will get a Mumbai Games medal post the results.
