Day 5 of the Subroto Cup U17 Junior Boys International tournament had a lot of attacking flair on display, with a record for this year’s tournament

Day 5 of the Subroto Cup U17 Junior Boys International tournament had a lot of attacking flair on display, with a record for this year’s tournament also being set.

SGGHS High School representing Patna set a tournament record for this year’s Subroto Cup, by scoring eighteen goals against The Rajkumar College of Gujarat. The full-time score-line read 18-1. Kundan Kumar and A. Raj each netted five goals for Bihar.

Amongst other heavy score-lines of the day featured the match between Govt. Pukpui High School from Mizoram and The Shri Ram School, New Delhi. Mizoram scored sixteen without reply, M. Lalpektluanga netted five while Lalmuanpuia bagged a hat-trick.

Bampather Benagenabari Higher Secondary School of Assam also registered double digits, scoring fifteen against Muslim Centre College from Sri Lanka.
