Mumbai will play Nagpur while Pune will face Kolhapur in an exiciting semi-finals clash. A possible final between Mumbai and Pune is on cards which will surely ignite their rivalry further.

Pune (Kevin Ghadge 2, Vicky Rajput and Srikant Molangiri) 4-0 Osmanabad

Right from the kick-off, Pune dominated the match proceedings. Osmanabad seemed to struggle in front of Pune’s free-flowing attacking display. Vicky Rajput opened the scoring with a delicate chip over the onrushing Osmanabad goalkeeper. A moments later, Srikant Molangiri emulated Vicky’s goal to double Pune’s lead.

Pune left no stones unturned as they kept attacking from flanks. Kevin Ghadge added two more goals before the half-time mark to secure a terrific win. Pune will play Kolhapur in the semi-final on Saturday morning.

Kolhapur (Harish Patil) 1-0 Amravati

In the fourth and final quarter-final, Kolhapur met an energetic Amravati side in the quest to face Pune in the semis. Throughout the game, Amravati held Kolhapur pretty well and defended brilliantly. But Amravati suffered a setback when defender Akshay Mangulkar received a red card.

Despite being a player down, Amravati had a great game. But in the last stages of the game, Kolhapur’s Harish Patil scored a bullet header from a corner to snatch a late winner. After the final whistle, Amravati players were inconsolable after a gritty performance.
