Salah had an incredible seasons, where everything that could go right did. Salah exploited the defensive frailties of the opponents and formed lethal trio alongside Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino. Klopp’s crew might haven’t won the UEFA Champions League, but the story would’ve been another had Salah played the entire 90 minutes/ He had the Real Madrid defence at his toes and it felt like Liverpool would score a goal anytime.
Salah’s injury in the final was unfortunate. However, Egypt have announced their World Cup squad and Mo Salah features in it. There is a stiff competition between clubs like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and Manchester United to lure the services of the Egyptian and it has certainly played its part in his transfer value. 171.3 million Euros, sounds incredible?
