Real Madrid sign Brazilian youngster

The young attacker will follow in the footsteps of Vinicius Junior

Santos FC President, José Carlos Peres has confirmed that Real Madrid and Santos have reached an agreement over Rodrygo Goes. Real Madrid have signed him for a massive 45 Million Euros.

Real Madrid were impressed with his performance for Santos and were keen to add him to their glamorous roster. He will follow in the footsteps of his Brazilian teammate Vinicius Junior, who has already secured a Real Madrid deal.

According to reports from Marca, Rodrygo passed the medical test last week. Out of the total 45 million Euros,  Santos FC will get 40 million Euros, while Rodrygo will earn 5 million Euros as a bonus.

However, he will not move to Real Madrid this summer. The young attacker is just 17 and will turn 18 in January 2019. Until then, he will ply his trade for Santos FC.

However, Vinicius Junior, dubbed as the next big thing in Brazilian Football, will join Real Madrid this July, when he turns 18. He was signed for a staggering 45 million Euros when he was just 16. Vinicius has featured in 64 games for Flamengo and bagged 14 goals.
