MDFA Yuva President League: Hedgewar Boys charge to massive 7-0 victory
CFCI Hedgewar Boys struck prime form and charged to an emphatic 7-0 against Footie First Academy in a Rustomjee-MDFA Yuva President Boys’ U-16 League 2018-19 and played at the MSSA ground, Azad Maidan.
Leading the scoring for Hedgewar’s Boys was striker Anirudh Ruke who scored two goals and was well supported by Khush Gohil, Shlok Yadav, Atharva Kadam, Nihar Modi and Sahil Shinde, all chipping in with a goal each to complete the big win.
In another match, Samuel FA riding on Sudhanshu Naik’s lone strike got the better of Steadfast FC 1-0.
Later, India Rush pulled off a comfortable 3-1 win against Sankalp Education Trust. For India Rush the goal-scorers were Krishnashoo Bhatia, Karm Mulchandani and Sujal Ghanekar, while Sainath Kuruba struck the consolation goal for the losers.
In the fourth match of the day, CFCI Colaba Sports League stormed to a 5-11 win against Youth FA, Borivali. Striker Sohaib Shaikh netted a brace of goals while Swayam Jain, Akhil Uchil and Suyash Sapre scored one apiece to complete goals tally for the Colaba side, while the Borivali side reduced the margin through Aryan Khemani’s goal.
Results – Boys’ Under-16: Samuel FA 1 (Sudhanshu Naik 1) beat Steadfast FC 0.
India Rush 3 (Krishnashoo Bhatia 1, Karm Mulchandani 1, Sujal Ghanekar 1) beat Sankalp Education Trust 1 (Sainath Kuruba 1).

CFCI CSL 5 (Sohaib Shaikh 2, Swayam Jain 1, Akhil Uchil 1, Suyash Sapre 1) beat YFA (Borivali) 1 (Aryan Khemani 1).
