MDFA 2nd Division: Worli SC storm to easy victory
Worli Sports Club showed good understanding to combine well as a team and stormed to a 4-0 win against Dadar XI ‘B’ in a Second Division match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League 2018-2019, and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel.
In another match, striker Prathamesh Samant opened the scoring in the 15th minute before Amey Sathe doubled the lead with a strike in the 40th minute. Later, Worli SC struck two quick goals through Bhavesh Komuraveli 67th minute and Raghvan Nambirajam 69th minute to complete the win.
In another match, Oscar Foundation got the better of CFCI Colaba Sports League by a narrow 1-0 margin. The lone goal of the match came through the efforts of Akash Rathod who hit the target in the 47th minute.
Results – Div-II: Supreme FC 1 (Sharik Shaikh 1) drew with The Soccer Academy 1 (Kunal Landge 1).
Oscar Foundation 1 (Akash Rathod 1) beat CFCI Colaba Sports League 0.
