Invitational conference on Indo-German Football Cooperation to be held on 14th October

The Invitational conference will be mainly aiming at the prospect of the Indo-German Cooperation and exploring the opportunities to empowering girls and women through the game of Football

German Days bring a conference program on Indo-German Football Cooperation, which includes an Interactive panel discussions involving renowned experts on the prospect of this cooperation and the potential opportunities, it would provide for the empowerment of girls and women through the game of football. Basically the main objectives of this conference are to highlight synergies between football and women empowerment, create a network of partners and do more joint projects in this field in the years to come.

The renowned experts with keynote speeches on the prospects of Indo-German Football are:

  • Max Jennis Foerster (Senior Manager BVB) Borissia Dortmund in Asia – we came here to stay, 
  • Dinesh Nair (Director, Association of Indian football coaches) – Coach Education & Parents Role in Player Development
  • Akshay Tandon (CEO, FC Goa) – Introduction to FC Goa and the Forca Goa Foundation

Meanwhile, the experts panel with keynote speeches on exploring opportunities to empower girls and women through football are:

  • Natasha Majumdar (Network Representative India, Amfori) –The value in empowering girls and women
  • Dr. Roland Binz (Director Scientific & Strategic Consultancy, DCF) – Playing Football: Beneficial on and off the pitch
  • Henry Menezes (CEO, WIFA) – Goals and development of Women’s football in India

Keynote speeches would be then followed by a live football training session to be moderated by Tasneem Muchhala (National level football player) after which a Panel Discussion on opportunities and challenges for women’s football in India will be done which would be moderated by Dr. Roland Binz and with

  • Akshay Tandon (CEO, FC Goa)
  • Juhi Shah (Assistant Manager – Regulations & Players, IMG Reliance & FIFA Masters Alumni)
