Riding on the four goals in the first half, Challengers FC swiftly brush past Kajupada FC challenge to grab their first win of the campaign. In the other game, Maryland made it 2 wins in 2.

After playing out a drab goal less draw with ND2 Soccer Starz in the opening game of Borivali premier league campaign, Challengers FC bounced back in style to defeat Kajupada FC 4-1 riding on the back of a stellar first half performance. Ashishek Gupta opened the flood gat5es in the 3rd minute before Ajay Saroj double the lead in the 18th minute. Challengers continued to attack and at the half hour mark Mayur Shirke tripled the lead before Kurban Sheikh added another one not very long after.

However in the second half Kajupada FC, who received a 9-0 thrashing against Milan in the opening game, produced some inspired performances to halt Challengers run while chipping in with one goal themselves as Aniket Khedekar’s 56th minute goal reduced to deficit to three goals. The game ended at 4-1 score line with Challengers FC taking their points tally to 4 in two games while at the other end, Kajupada are yet to open their tally

In the other game of the day, Ruthless FC succumbed to 0-2 loss against Maryland United courtesy of goals on either side of the break. Collin and Ashirwad Hegde turned out to be the scorers for Maryland United as they made it two wins in two games of the campaign.
