Barcelona Legends and Juventus Legends’ squad announced

Earlier today at the Cooperage Stadium, a press conference was held in front of large numbers of media to officially announce the players’ name who is going to participate in the Barcelona Legends vs Juventus Legends’ game on the 27th April 2018 at DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai.
In association with Football Next Foundation and DY Patil Sports Academy, MDFA is organising this mega event which is set to be a historic moment for Mumbai Football. From Champions League winners to World Cup winners, both the squad is filled with some of the biggest names the beautiful sport has ever seen.
Founder of Football Next Foundation, Kaushik Moulik, who has made this match possible, said that it is just a preliminary list which can undergo some changes.
“The legends are those who have played in World Cups, European championships or in over 200 matches. They are expected to arrive on April 24,” said Moulik who had earlier arranged Bayern Munich vs India game at Kolkata in 2010. He further added: “MDFA has done a great job and backed me throughout to make this possible. I urge all the fans to be a part of this historic moment.”
“We have plans with these teams to help in developing Indian football. That’s the whole idea,” he said.
D Y Patil Sports Academy’s president, Dr Vijay Patil, said that the game would be a “great opportunity to showcase our country.”
In a video message the president of the Mumbai District Football Association, Aditya Thackeray, said: “It’s a big day for Mumbai.”
“The game will be telecast live by the two clubs on their own TV. There will be a huge audience to watch it,” said Moulik, adding that the cost of tickets for the public to watch the game at the stadium will be priced between Rs 500 and 1,500.

Barcelona Squad: Eric Abidal, Andoni Goicoetxea, Frederik Dehu, Miguel Nadal, Frank De Boer, Juan Carlos Rodriguez, Gaizka Mendieta, Jose Edmilson, Simao, Gudjohnsen and Juilo Salinas.
