Vigorous Castle Boys tear down Colaba Sports League(CSL) team apart

1st February 2017, Mumbai: Castle boys thrashed down CSL’s defence by scoring a brilliant five without conceding any, in their very first fixture of Third Division MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association), Group F which was held at St. Xavier’s Ground, Parel.

Energetic Castle Boys marked their presence in the game as it all started in the  17th-minute where a strike from Maxie D’silva made it 1-0.

It wasn’t enough for the leading side as Brendan D’souza double their lead in the 23rd minute which turned out to be 2-0 at halftime.

In the second half, CSL with no signs of response got hit by a third goal came out from Tanishq Shetty in the 45th minute which was soon increased by Mohith Shetty in the 53rd minute.

With Castle boys scoring four already added one more in the 56th minute with the help of a strike from Tanishq Shetty who got his brace of the game to make it 5-0.

A proud moment for Coach Kanal Nagwekar from the winning side got the best out of his players as they have won their first game of the third division fixture earning themselves three points with even a good goal difference.

Another result: Atlamash Khan scored a brace which helped Grey Athletic Tipu Sultan ease to a win over Milan FA in their Second Division MDFA, Group A match. Goals came out in the 37th & 59th minute along with a feast of yellow cards for Ateeque Ansari, Mridhul Ashwin & Salvi Shubham one each with an addition of a red card for Fasal who will be missing in the next game for Milan FA also players Vishal Shelar & Aniket Jadav from the winning side got a yellow card each in the game.
